Stupidity of the masses

I'm frustrated, I'm frustrated at ignorance. Why are people so freaking dependent. Why do people believe that the culmination of their lives is to get married, eat, drink, fuck, and have children. Why is it that the popular take on christianity is an excuse, a means to be lazy, to be apathetic, and to not care about ever doing anything with their lives because someday the rapture will occur and they'll all be whisked away to a magical land. By their logic god doesn't care about what they do on earth. They can just fuck around and throw their lives away. They can do drugs, they can quit school, they can kill themselves, because it doesn't matter. "God loves me, I can do whatever I want then I can go to heaven." By their logic there is no need for us to even be on this plane of existence. If we had no purpose, no meaning of life, then why would we ever even be created? Such thoughts like this are akin to athiesm which is, of course, the COMPLETE opposite of christianity entirely. I'm sick to death of these whiney, bitchy christians, I'm sick of suicidal people, I'm sick of people rotting away (myself included) in their squalor, in their ignorance. I know people that are flushing their lives down the tubes for ridiculous reasons. Some person of the opposite sex should have no effect on your continued desire to exist. I don't see why people put such an emphasis on relationships, and on sex. They are sick, whining little narrow-minded slaves to their own incompetence vying for a solution to their problems in another. Some even presuming that all the frustrating situations and occurrences will cease once they've found their magic "fairy tale" other half. I mean hey, sex is great, I love a good fuck, but its not everything. Having someone around is great, but its okay to be single too. (Having no commitments can lead to a very interesting sex life) I'm just ranting, because I wish some people I care for would be more independent, more assertive, and more capable of dealing with issues with more viable solutions than just laying down and dying. (or doing drugs, not that there is much difference between the two) Its disgusting, because several people profess to be of a faith that completely contradicts such things. Bah, I'm such a hypocrite, I've done alot of these things that I'm griping about now. I guess I just wish my friends didn't have to learn their lessons the same way I did. Whatever, I'm done with this post, its one in the morning, and I'm tired, and I have class tomorrow. Peace.
